Field is taking on incumbent Democrat Diane Henson who Texas Alliance for Life says is the most liberal appellate judge in the state.
Judges should strictly interpret the law as written and never legislate from the bench. Unfortunately this is not the philosophy practiced by the Democrat incumbent" said Field.
As justice I will independently rule on each case according to the law and treat all parties fairly without regard to personal beliefs or agendas. And to take on the incumbent I need everyones help to win the Republican primary election." Field said.
