We should have two goals" said Texas Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison following an important exchange of communications between Cong. Frank Wolf (R-VA) and officials with NASA. Wolf is the chairman of the House Commerce Justice & Science Appropriations subcommittee who reached an agreement with NASA on the future of the nations space program.

We should have two goals:
- To ensure full manned access to the space station that utilizes the investment made in that unique microgravity laboratory and
- To reach our nations next horizon in space exploration beyond low earth orbit
Both of these goals can be achieved if we invest taxpayer dollars wisely and take advantage of the years of invaluable experience developed within NASA.
