Senator Cornyns luncheon remarks will address what many economists & analysts have said is the reason for the national economys current ills  Too Big to Succeed: The Perils of Government Overreach". The 12:00 Noon Monday January 16 2012 luncheon will be held at the Downtown Austin Sheraton Hotel at the Capitol located on 701 E. 11th Street at I-35.

Sen. Cornyn currently sits on the Senate Finance Judiciary Armed Services and Budget Committees. Sen. Cornyn has served as a member been of the Republican Senate leadership since 2006. He has served as the Vice Chairman of the Senate Republican width=227Conference and was chosen by his colleagues in November 2008 to serve as the Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee. He is now in his 2nd term as NRSC Chairman for the 2012 Election Cycle. While in the Senate Sen. Cornyn has received various awards and recognitions including:

  • Texas Association of Businesss (TAB) Fighter for Free Enterprise Award
