Texas Insider Report: Austin Texas (LUBBOCK TX) Today Senator Charles Perry (R Lubbock) was appointed to the Select Committee on Transportation Planning that was created by House Bill 20.
I am thankful to be appointed to the Senate Select Committee on Transportation Planning by Lt. Governor Dan Patrick said Senator Charles Perry. It is imperative food fuel and fiber can be transported safely across the state. I look forward to working with my fellow legislators to ensure our infrastructure needs are met and Im glad to have the opportunity to provide West Texas a voice at the table.
House Bill 20 created this committee to examine issues related to transportation planning financing and performance as well as the Texas Department of Transportations collaboration with stakeholder groups such as elected officials local governments and metropolitan planning organizations.
