Sessions Votes to Hold IRS Accountable to American People

pete-sessions2Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON DC  This week Americans were once again reminded that this Administration is for big government policies instead of free-marketplace solutions said Texas Cong. Pete Sessions chairman of the House Rules Committee earlier today after voting in favor of two measures that would hold the IRS accountable for their actions and ensure their employees are held to the same standards as the American people.
Abuse at the IRS is rampant and it cannot continue. They have misused hard-earned taxpayer dollars through the user-fee account without any Congressional oversight for far too long. If we do not act the IRS will continue to operate without regard to their responsibility to hardworking taxpayers. Last year alone the agency spent only 10 of the user-fee account on tax payer services resulting in a 73  reduction in funding from user fees for taxpayer assistance. In addition they have repeatedly turned a blind eye to delinquencies on their employees tax obligations while continuing to hold Americans accountable for every cent they owe to the petesessionsLARGE government. Enough is enough. Today I voted to deliver a clear message to the IRS they do not answer to Washington bureaucrats they answer to the American people.
