Sharia Law Bill Moves Closer to Senate Passage

Campbells SB 531 upholds Texas morals from foreign laws... Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas Today the Texas Senate passed Sen. Donna Campbells Senate Bill 531 (SB 531) also known as the Sharia Law Bill to 3rd Reading. The bills purpose is to ensure that the constitutional rights of those who are part of the proceedings involving marriage dissolution of marriage or a suit affecting the parent-child relationship are protected said Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick earlier today after the Texas Senate took another step toward passing Sen. Campbells effort.   

Sen. Campbell has done a great job in leading senators to advance the laws that protect our basic rights from infringement. SB 531 upholds Texas morals from foreign laws that contradict or violate our laws and our beliefs said Lt. Gov. Patrick. With a little over a week left in the 84th legislative session the Senate continues to focus on Texans priorities and protection of their constitutional rights.
