Texas Insider Report: DENTON COUNTY Texas Businessman Ron Simmons Republican candidate for Texas House District 65 today announced an endorsement from TEXPAC the political advocacy arm of the Texas Medical Association (TMA). The TEXPAC Board of Directors voted to
support Ron Simmons because of his commitment to preserving patients access to health care and strong support from the physicians in his community" said Joe Todd MD chair of the TEXPAC Board of Directors.
Mr. Simmons is seeking the open seat in Denton Countys House District 65 which includes the cities of Carrollton Lewisville Highland Village and Dallas.
Rons a fiscally conservative Republican who will serve District 65 well" said Flower Mound general surgeon and TEXPAC member Scott McDearmont MD.
I have had multiple opportunities to visit with Ron Simmons and Im confident that he will be attentive to the needs of the physicians as well as the rest of his constituents in District 65."
