Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas Earlier this week the Texas House of Representatives passed HB 15 by State Rep. Sid Miller the Sonogram Bill clearing the way for the House & Senate to work out differences in each bodys bill prior to final vote & Passage. The bill gives women the right to see or refuse considering their regularly performed sonogram prior to making a decision for abortion. Watch TexasInsiders coverage below.
In the public testimony supporting the bill numerous women said that they werent allowed to see a sonogram image of their child while seeking guidance regarding abortion.
Supporters & proponents of the House & Senate bills say all women considering abortion should be given complete information about the child growing inside them as well as other medically relevant information prior to choosing to have an abortion. These bills seeks to empower and protect women on this issue.
