Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly touched down recently in Austin to explain how Southwest is expanding into new markets even as other carriers are struggling. Speaking to the Austin Economic Club he pointed out the countrys antiquated air traffic control system is long overdue for an update.
In a speech Friday morning to the Austin Economic Club Kelly credited internal efficiencies for keeping Southwest an industry leader.
