
(Houston) -- State Representative Ellen Cohen filed seeking reelection to represent District 134 in the Texas House of Representatives for another two-year term.
I filed on the first day of the application process to demonstrate my enthusiasm passion and energy to serve the people of District 134" said Rep. Cohen. To become a party nominee for a particular office candidates must apply for a place on the ballot with the county or state party chair. Applications for 2010 elections must be filed between December 3 2009 and January 4 2010. The primary election date is Tuesday March 2 2010.
State Representative Ellen Cohen represents District 134 which includes all of Bellaire West University River Oaks Rice University and the Texas Medical Center along with parts of Meyerland and Montrose.
