The State of Texas requested a state of emergency declaration for the State of Texas as severe weather from Tropical Storm Alex poses a threat to 19 Texas counties.
We urge you to expedite the consideration of this request as the declaration is critical to ensuring that important recovery assistance is made available to the residents of Aransas Bee Brooks Cameron Duval Hidalgo Jim Hogg Jim Wells
Kenedy Kleberg Live Oak McMullen Nueces Refugio San Patricio Starr Webb Willacy and Zapata counties as soon as possible.
