States Largest Business Association Continues Support Through General Election
AUSTIN Gov. Rick Perry today received the endorsement of the Business & Commerce PAC (BACPAC) the political arm of the Texas Association of Business (TAB) for re-election. The business community has a true champion in Gov. Rick Perry" said TAB President and BACPAC spokesman Bill Hammond.
Hardworking people all over our state know that governments never really create jobs businesses do when they are free of excessive government influence" said Gov. Perry.
For more than 85 years TAB has been on the front lines of the legislative regulatory

and judicial battlefields fighting for every issue that impacts business to ensure that employers opinions are heard.
Members of TAB understand this essential principle and I am honored to receive their vote of confidence in my candidacy. We share the understanding that government is at its best when its cultivating an environment that makes it easier for employers to thrive and then gets out of the way. The business-friendly climate we have created together combined with the efforts of hardworking Texans have moved Texas to the forefront of the nations economy and have us poised to remain there well into the future" Perry said.
Texas is fortunate to have the most pro-business governor in the nation. Gov. Perry has helped lead our state to being home to the most robust business climate in

America. Gov. Perrys unparalleled record of accomplishment on business issues made the decision an easy one" said Hammond.
Representing companies from the largest multi-national corporations to small businesses in nearly every community of Texas the
Texas Association of Business works to improve the Texas business climate and to help make our states economy the strongest in the world.
