As Chairman of the House Republican Caucus Chairman and now Senate District 11 Candidate Larry Taylor was Insiders Power Player of the Week" during the 1st week of October.
When I took on the Chairmanship ... it was actually the Session before last (2009) and we had 76 Republican Members at that point I saw the next coming election as being the most crucial election probably for many years in Texas because of redistricting coming up and we had to do well in that (2010) election" said Taylor (R-HD 24) who now is a Texas Senate District 11 Candidate.
I saw for years leading up to my Caucus Election for years the Democrats had out-manuevered us. They were spending time together strategizing doing things and I knew we had to do a much better job of making sure that we were well-prepared and positioned for that next election" Taylor said.
