Tea Party Effort is Racist Claim Rebutted by Black Conservatives

Project 21 Chairman to speak at Black Conservative Press Conference width=71Texas Insider Report: Washington D.C. Mychal Massie chairman of the Project 21 Black Leadership Network will be one of the featured speakers at a press conference with other black conservatives rebutting claims the Tea Party movement is racist. Marcus organized the press conference in response to the NAACPs recent resolution criticizing the Tea Party movement for alleged racial behavior. The press conference will be held August 4 at 9:30 AM at the National Press Club (529 14th Street NW 13th floor) in Washington D.C. Expected to join Project 21s Massie at the press conference are:
  • width=191Lloyd Marcus of the Tea Party Express
  • Ambassador Alan Keyes
  • Dr. Timothy Johnson of the Frederick Douglass Foundation and
  • Frantz Kebreau of the National Association for the Advancement of Conservative People of All Colors. 
Project 21 members Bob Parks and Emery McClendon are also expected to speak at the press conference on behalf of other organizations and other speakers are expected as well. Project 21 is a non-partisan organization that does not promote candidates or legislation. Project 21 a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization sponsored by the National Center for Public Policy Research has been a leading voice of the African-American community since 1992.
