Rallies organized in 41 cities include 5 in Texas
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas In response to
two disturbing videos released the past two weeks with more said come showing Planned Parenthood officials discussing the procurement and
sale of body parts from aborted babies the Texas Alliance for Life is gathering Texans at a
rally Tuesday to focus
attention on
Wednesdays Senate investigative hearing held by the Health & Human Services Committee. Lt. Governor Dan Patrick (right) has instructed Senators to issue a
report within a months time.
The two videos released so far by the Center for Medical Progress are only the beginning the organization has said promising to release additional videos in the immediate future.
This latest video showing yet another Planned Parenthood senior official negotiating the price of unborn baby body parts is more than just callous and morally bereft it may be criminal said Gov. Greg Abbott earlier this week announcing the expansion of his already launched investigation.
Todays new grotesque revelations necessitate that Texas expand its investigation into this abhorrent practice" Abbott said after a second video showed a Planned Parenthood official contradicting the organizations earlier statement claiming it does not earn a profit for selling body parts.
The video appears to directly contradict Planned Parenthoods statement last week that they do not earn a profit for selling body parts" said the Texas governor.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Lt. Governor Dan Patrick have each announced separate investigations into Planned Parenthood activities in Texas as well.
The videos offer a glimpse into an organization that knowingly and deliberately destroys human life to further its bottom line" said Texas Attorney General Paxton.
The Office of the Attorney General has launched an official investigation into Planned Parenthood following the release of a video that details the organizations calculated slaughter of human babies to maximize the available body parts they plan to sell Paxton said.
The Texas Alliance for Life event is being organized in conjunction with dozens of rallies organized by
Students for Life of America in at least 41 cities across the country the organization said including four other sites in Texas.
