Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Hosts Fall Meeting in Austin; Includes Seminar for Young Ranchers

tscra3Fort Worth Texas -The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) will host its annual fall meeting in Austin Texas September 30 through October 2 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.  TSCRAs Young Leadership Series (YLS) seminar will kick off the event Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC) with an update on current issues affecting the Texas cattle industry.   TSCRAs YLS is an opportunity for young farmers and ranchers to gather for educational programs networking opportunities and fellowship with cattle raisers.  YLS serves to aid in the development of new leaders in the cattle industry as well as educate young people on current cattle industry issues.  The YLS program is open to individuals ages 19-39 and is free to registered attendees.  To register for the YLS meeting please contact Stacy Fox at 800/242-7820 or sfox@texascattleraisers.org.
