Founded in 1922 the Texas Association of Business is a broad-based bipartisan organization representing more than 3000 small and large Texas employers and 200 local chambers of commerce.
Senate District 9 includes all of Hancocks current State House District. In addition it includes Southlake the Tarrant County portion of Westlake Euless and Keller along with sections of Hurst Bedford Arlington Irving and Grand Prairie.
A consistent advocate for pro-business policies Hancock has been named Champion for Free Enterprise by the Texas Association of Business. He was first elected to the Texas House in 2006 and is Chairman of the

Republican Caucus Policy Committee.
Hancock has received significant support
for his campaign for Senate District 9 including endorsements from the Young Conservatives of Texas Empower Texans the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and former SD 9 candidate Representative Rodney Anderson of Grand Prairie.
Prior to his service in the Texas Legislature Hancock spent 13 years on the Birdville ISD School Board. He owns Advanced Chemical Logistics his family-founded chemical distribution company. Kelly and his wife Robin have been married 25 years and have three children.
