Applauded Hegar for his fiscal conservatism and commitment to Texas property owners
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – The Glenn Hegar Campaign announced today that the Texas Association of Realtors has endorsed Glenn Hegar in his Republican Primary race for Texas State Comptroller.
“As a respected lawmaker, Sen. Hegar has consistently demonstrated that he will do what it takes to ensure Texas remains a great place to buy, sell, own and lease real estate. Additionally, our experience with Sen. Hegar tells us he will make tough decisions to do what’s right for Texas. That’s why we’re proud to support his bid to become the next comptroller of this great state,” said Realtors Chairman Dan Hatfield.
With more than 90,000 members, the Texas Association of Realtors is one of the largest not-for-profit professional membership associations in Texas. The association represents Texas Realtors involved in all aspects of real estate and advocates on behalf of the real estate industry and private-property owners.
“A strong real estate market is a vital part of the Texas economy and Realtors play an important role in that,” Hegar said. “I’m very appreciative of the Texas Association of Realtors for their endorsement and all of their hard work to make Texas a better place.”
The Texas Association of Realtors joins a growing list of trade associations to support Glenn Hegar, including: Texas Municipal Police Association, Texas Farm Bureau, Texas Department of Public Safety Officers Association, Texas Wildlife Association, AGC-Texas Building Branch, and the Greater Houston Builders Association.
