Pitts is receiving broad local and statewide support in his re-election campaign including endorsements from the Waxahachie Firefighters Association Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott Texas Comptroller Susan Combs Texas Alliance for Life PAC Texas Right to Life National Rifle Association and Texas State Rifle Association.
Pitts is a Waxahachie attorney. He also owns the Ellis County Abstract and Title Company is a director of Citizens National Bank in Waxahachie and is a Director of Sims Library. Pitts previously served as President of the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce President of the board of trustees of Presbyterian Childrens Services and President of the Waxahachie Independent School District. He and his late wife Evelyn have three children.
