People want a limited government that protects individual liberties defends states rights & promotes fiscal responsibility said Christian.

Following a press conference announcing the new signatories Perry & Christian were joined by Judge Andrew Napolitano Attorney General Greg Abbott & members of the Texas Conservative Coalition for a Town Hall Meeting in Humble to discuss the outlined pledge.
We are honored to have statewide officials such as Governor Perry and Comptroller Combs recognize the importance of such a pledge and offer their commitment to uphold it said Rep. Christian. By signing the Pledge with Texans signatories promise to support the following policies:
Balance the budget without raising taxes- Limit federal intrusion
- Improve election integrity
- Cut taxes
- Secure the Texas border
