This team consists of highly trained Texas Veterans Commission staff strategically positioned across the state to act as liaisons for Texas Veterans in addressing issues involving VA health care related services."
Gov. Rick Perry working with Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst and Speaker of the House Joe Straus directed the Texas Veterans Commission assemble the Texas Veterans Health Care Strike Force Team" to assist Texas Veterans in navigating the complex VA health care system.
The Texas Veterans Health Care Strike Force Team liaisons are teaming up with the Veterans Land Board (VLB) to provide one-on-one consultations for Veterans across the state at the VLB Fairs and will also be hosting similar events in the future.
Assistance from the Texas Veterans Health Care Strike Force Team is available to all Veterans and all services are free of charge. Preregistering will give staff an opportunity to prepare for your consultation prior to the event and will provide you with the ability to select an appointment time. Walk-ins are welcome on a first-come first-served basis as time allows.
