This Was Not a Good Hearing for Comey the FBI or Hillary Clinton

Congressmen Chaffetz & Gowdy grill Comey about Double Track Justice System By Lynn Woolley Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas  Yes FBI Director Comey said virtually everything Hillary Clinton has been telling us is untrue. Trey Gowdy laid out a litany of lies repeated over and over by Hillary Clinton and asked FBI Director James Comey to affirm or deny them. And he made the case that Hillary Clinton was in fact VERY CAREFUL to make sure her email blackberry & scheduling communications were totally under wraps.    Jason Chaffetz was concerned about the double track system of justice that is now apparent in our country. Gowdy stated that a private in the Army would be kicked out for emailing classified information and yet President Obama just referred to Hillary as the most qualified presidential candidate since Jefferson. Maybe he means George Jefferson but no matter. The Clintons always skate but the jig may be up. Comey failed if he was trying to preserve his own legacy. He is without a doubt the least popular political figure in America today. Comey failed his country. He has left in place the lack of precedent for cases such as the Clintons. This matter of intent. Comey defended his decision saying he had no case. This is of course BS of the highest order. Comey used the intent" standard to determined that Hillary was extremely careless" but not did not commit gross negligence." So what is intent? Gowdy put it this way:

You say careless but not intentionally. You and I both know intent is really difficult to prove. Very rarely do defendants announce On this date I intend to break this criminal code section. Just to put everyone on notice I am going to break the law on this date. It never happens that way. You have to do it with circumstantial evidence or if youre Congress and you realize how difficult it is to prove specific intent you will formulate a statute that allows for gross negligence."

Congressman Gowdy has come under criticism for not pressing Hillary Clinton harder on Benghazi. But this line of questioning was devastating and Gowdy made the case that Hillary was VERY CAREFUL to make sure her communications were totally under her control.

This hearing was not a good one for Comey. Or for Hillary. There was a time when a candidate this corrupt and so completely exposed as a fraud and a liar would drop out in shame. That is not what the Clintons do. The question now is what will the American people do. As we hear often this is a strangely different election cycle. The American people know who Hillary is and they know what she is. Our country is in their hands.
