the United States Flag represents what all our brave men and women in the military risk their lives to protect. It is as much a symbol of sacrifice as of liberty and for
235 years the Army has proudly carried it into battle and for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice carried it home with them as well.
My greatest hope and prayer is that our military and citizens will continue to fly our flag for hundreds of years to come and that it will always be the beacon of hope and freedom it is today.
With your help we will remain vigilant and that hope will be realized.
While celebrating Flag Day take the opportunity to thank a soldier a veteran or the family of a service member. Brave men and women are sacrificing dearly to defend our flag
