I know firsthand how intrusive government regulations and overbearing federal polices can harm our economy job growth and our families.

AUSTINFormer Texas Secretary of State and business leader Roger Williams today filed paperwork with the Republican Party of Texas to become a candidate in the Republican primary for the 25th Congressional District.I am proud to announce today that our campaign for Congress will continue with me as a candidate for the 25th Congressional District" Roger said. Texas deserves another strong conservative voice in Congress and one that has small business experience to directly counter Obamas destructive policies which are harming job growth our economy and our nations future. During the next eighty-two days we will be engaging folks and discussing our limited government vision that repeals Obamacare balances our federal budget by cutting spending lowers taxes to help small businesses grow and encourages a new American energy revolution. Williams civic activities include serving on the Board of Trustees for the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University. He and his wife Patty are the proud parents of two adult daughters.
