Top-rated Radio Personality Glenn Beck Renews Contract with Clear Channel

Syndicated radio host Glenn Beck has renewed his contract with Premiere Radio Networks in a move that will keep him on the air on nearly 300 radio stations.

Sherman Oaks Calif.-based Premiere Radio Networks is a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications Inc. (NYSE: CCU). The company syndicates 90 radio programs and provides services to more than 4600 radio affiliates.

Beck hosts the third highest-rated radio talk show in America according to the Premiere Radio Research/Arbitron Nationwide Spring 2007 data. Beck has been with Premiere since 2002.

"In just six years we have attracted one of the largest and most passionate fan bases in all of radio" Beck says. "We look forward to building off that success and working with our loyal listeners affiliates and advertisers to continue creating an entertaining informative and engaging show well into the next decade."

Matthew Thompson of the law firm Stroock Stroock and Lavan LLP represented Premiere Radio in negotiations. George Hiltzik of broadcast talent agency N.S. Bienstock Inc. represented Beck in his negotiations.
