Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas Travis Winfield Sampley 32 died unexpectedly on Tuesday November 1 from an aortic dissection. At the time of his death Sampley a well-known & regarded veteran of the Capitol in Austin was Chief of Staff for State Representative Ralph Sheffield of Temple. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday November 8 at 2:00 pm in the Sanctuary of the 1st United Methodist Church at 1201 Lavaca Street Austin Texas.
He is survived by his parents Donald & Gayle Sampley of Atascocita and his brother Stuart sister in law Kelly and their children Murphy & Winfield of Austin.
The Tuesday November 8 Memorial Service held on at 2:00 pm will be officiated by the Reverend John McMullen.
A reception will be held following the Service in the Great Hall of the Family Life Center on 13th & Lavaca.
The family requests no flowers.
