Workman Raises $87K in First Two-Months

HD47 candidate mounts strong fundraising effort from 121 contributors Travis County Republican candidate for House District 47 Paul Workman today filed his first campaign finance report showing $87000 raised in a little more than two months with $68000 in the bank from 121 different contributors.
I am happy with broad-based support I have received from all across Travis County" said Workman.
Our fundraising reflects the fact I have been creating jobs and working for conservative causes in Travis County for close to 25 years and Republicans

believe I am the right candidate to defeat ultra-liberal incumbent Valinda Bolton" Workman said.
Workman founded Workman Construction in 1991 which builds commercial properties across Texas. In 2007 the company did $70 million in construction projects. Workman is a former chairman of the
Associated General Contractors Texas Building Branch and a board member of the
Central Texas chapter of Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse.
His campaign is focused on controlling property taxes securing our border ending traffic gridlock and pushing back against Washington mandates on state budgets.
I have strong local roots in our district and a conservative track record. I
know how to create jobs and I know government isnt the source of wealth but instead the private sector. I will fight for controlling taxes and spending
so families and entrepreneurs can invest more in their own futures."
