(Washington DC) Vets for Freedom would like to thank Senator Cornyn for his show of support at our recent press conference on Capitol Hill. Over 400 veterans converged on Capitol Hill to attend the press conference and meet with lawmakers to encourage them support General Petraeus and his surge plan.
“Senator Cornyn’s support is critical to the success of our military’s efforts in the Global War on Terror” said Pete Hegseth Executive Director of Vets for Freedom. “We stand behind his ongoing efforts to support our commanders on the ground and give them the support needed to finish the job. Strength at home equals victory abroad.”
