Walmart Honors American GI Forum at Texas Capitol

The GI Forum assists veterans with securing employment after returning from conflict provides substantial aid for Americas heroes with various services and programs for veterans. The GI Forum which assists veterans with securing employment after returning from conflict has provided substantial aid for Americas heroes and will continue to support various services and programs for veterans. Additionally this partnership and contribution will jump start Walmarts Welcome Home Commitment" to hire 100000 veterans beginning Memorial Day 2013. The event will take place at the Texas State Capitol on the South Steps and will begin with a presentation of the colors by the Akins High School JROTC program followed by the singing of the national anthem by San Antonio native and Gulf War Veteran Jeffrey Charles.
