Last weekend the Tarrant County Republican Party hosted one of the largest political events of the year The Tarrant County Republican Candidate Fair and Straw Poll. In a crowded field of 7 candidates I was honored to receive over 40 of the vote with the closest runner up receiving only 16 of the vote.
Each voter in this straw poll had the opportunity to meet the candidates and evaluate their qualifications and political philosophy. My victory in this poll demonstrates the overwhelming support we will have statewide if we are able to get our message out to the voters.
