Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Dear Logic Lovers,
Bring it on. House Speaker John Boehner has issued his “standards” for immigration reform — ostensibly as a test to see his caucus and conservative pundits would react.
The caucus is what it is. So are we conservative writers and talking heads who are pretty much united in calling for Boehner’s head. He moves forward at his peril.
My immigration plan: Deport people who are here illegally. Work with people who come here according to our rules and laws. Shut down companies that hire illegals. Create a logical, workable guest worker program that addresses birthright citizenship. So can I be Speaker?
THE COOKIECOTT: Yes, Virginia, the Girl Scouts have become a liberal indoctrination society. But why boycott GS cookies?
It’s because the Girl Scout organization has been using social media to promote the careers of two of the most liberal and pro-abortion women in the United States: Wendy Davis and Kathleen Sebelius. The national boycott is headed up by John Pisciotta of Pro Life Waco. He will be with us the entire 10 o’clock hour and we will take calls.
By the way, Dr. Pisciotta is a retired professor of economics (Baylor) and we will also talk about economic issues.
So what do we do with Dzhokhar Tsaranev if he is convicted. Kill him? Sure. But this trial is in liberal Boston and liberals do not admit the existence of evil. Therefore, he is just a misguided youth who probably was abused as a child and didn’t get much in the way of government supervision. Poor kid.
Wendy Davis’ two daughters both have written op-eds on how wonderful their momma is. Are you kiddin’ me? These two ladies are lucky to be alive. Momma Davis is the Texas Abortion Queen! Do liberal women ever think logically? Well, no.
Dr. Krauthammer has gone on the attack against FOX’s own Mike Huckabee. According to Charles, the Huckster blew it when he talked about the War on Women. Krauthammer made some good points in his column — but essentially, he is wrong about Huckabee. We taped the speech and ran clips of it. Huckabee’s words have been distorted by the libtards. If you look at what Huckabee said, he is right.
What Huck was trying to do was use the Democrats’ methods against them. They took words like “legitimate rape” (a true concept) and turned them against the Republican who said them. But rape isn’t legitimate as a charge if a women has had consensual sex, and then gets mad and files charges later. Happens more than you’d think. The Dems would have us believe that a man should be convicted just because he is accused. Remember Anita Hill?

So Krauthammer blew this one, and I shall stick with the Huckster. (Kraut goes on to talk about better ways to address Wendy Davis and liberal women — and he makes good points. But there was no need to demean Huckabee.)
Jerry Patterson is catching some flak for not being a true conservative. Remember, he did not show up at the Salado debate. Patterson seems to be losing ground in the Lt. Gov. race. Too bad. He’s a good guy, but he should have been at that debate.
Take a stand in this immigration battle. It for the heart and soul of our country!
