Party leaders say he will run on it, but hasn’t committed yet.
Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON, D.C. – Two weeks ago, the National Republican Congressional Committee asked Pete Gallego to sign a pledge that he would campaign on ObamaCare in 2014. He still has yet to commit. So we ask yet again: Will Pete Gallego pledge his continued support of ObamaCare and promise to run on the failed law—just as party leaders say he will?
Once again, by signing the “ObamaCare Campaign Pledge”, Gallego can commit to voters that he will be honest about his support for ObamaCare, and that he agrees with Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz who said Democrats will run on ObamaCare in 2014.
“If Pete Gallego actually believes this disastrous law will help his district, he should pledge to campaign on it,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek.
“Voters deserve to know that he is standing up for higher premiums and canceled plans. What is he waiting for?”
