Republican Sets Impressive Pace with $235000 raised since Jan. 1
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas Paul Workmans Campaign for House District 47 has announced they have raised $100000 since he filed his last report. This brings Workmans total raised since announcing in late October to nearly $308000. His total for the first six months of this year is about $235000 raised with almost $67000 cash-on-hand.
Our support is deep and wide reflecting the strong desire for change in a district represented by a liberal out of touch with local values and views" said Workman.
I have spent my career running a business creating jobs and making a payroll. In an election year where voters are worried about our economic future there couldnt be a greater contrast between an entrepreneur who has created opportunity and a liberal with a big spending agenda.
I am grateful to the many Texans who have invested in our campaign and who believe we need a taxpayer advocate representing us" said Workman.
Our campaign is building momentum because our message is resonating. Voters want to rein in government spending create jobs and limit skyrocketing property taxes. Thats exactly what I will do as
the House District 47 representative."
