A Grateful Nation Says Goodbye to Rush: Read the Most Touching Tributes Here

“More than any single person, Rush Limbaugh helped break the left’s monopoly in the media.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Texas Insider Report) —
“Rush Limbaugh made conservatism fun. There’s an old saying that 'Winners Have Fun,' and Rush Limbaugh’s voice made conservatives proud,” said former Vice President Mike Pence during a phone call interview with Fox News, celebrating the life of Rush Limbaugh and reacting to the news of the legendary broadcaster’s death.

Former President Donald Trump also joined Fox News to dedicate his first post-presidential interview in honor of Limbaugh Wednesday, sharing his thoughts on Limbaugh's contributions and reflecting on the emotional moment 1st Lady Melania Trump presented Limbaugh with the United States Presidential Medal of Freedom during the 2020 State of the Union Address in the U.S. House of Representatives Chamber – one day after Limbaugh publically revealed his diagnosis with advanced-Stage 4 Lung Cancer.

Legendary Talk Radio Show Host Rush Limbaugh passed away at the age 70 yesterday following a year-long battle with Lung Cancer. His wife, Kathryn, made the announcement at the beginning of his daily, mid-day radio show, a fitting way to let his listeners know of the news given how much Limbaugh loved his audience.

“Losing a loved one is terribly difficult, even more so when that loved one is larger than life,” said Mrs. Limbaugh.

“Rush will forever be the greatest of all time.”

“Thank you for your decades of devotion to our country,” Trump said during that prime time, State of the Union Address.

“He was a fantastic man. He was a fantastic talent,” said Trump Wednesday.
Fox New's Brit Hume, for instance, tweeted @brithume:

"RIP Rush. More than any single person, Rush Limbaugh helped break the left’s monopoly in the media.

"The left is still dominant, but not to the extent it was before he came along.

"He waged a brave struggle against deafness and later, the cancer that killed him. He was a giant."

There were, not unexpectedly, plenty of disgusting comments, liberal commentaries and tweets from what Rush so oftern referred to as “The Drive By Media,” whose behavior has become visibly demonstrative of the cruelty & hatefulness of the Far-Left, Socialist-Democrat's mindset, which ceases to view their political opponents – who not so long ago were referred to fondly by both political parties as simply "The Loyal Opposition" – as human beings worthy of dignity, respect and mourning.
“Rush... being a voice for so many and hearing from so many, talking about conservative ideology with so many was huge – it was really the beginning of the end, I think, for so much of our corrupt media,” said The Federalist's Senior Editor Mollie Hemingway.
Said Trump White House advisor and 2016 campaign manager Kellyanne Conway @KellyannePolls:

"Rush Limbaugh was an architect of the center-right movement, he defined & dominated political talk radio for decades & gave daily voice to millions of pro-freedom Americans.

"Rush’s inimitable influence inspires his listeners & inflames his critics Sympathy to his family. RIP."

Rush Limbaugh was a good man and great American who let those who listened to him hear from his heart every day. He single-handedly transformed talk radio as a titan who became an indispensable voice for the nation.

He was an anchor of conservatism who gave voice to the history and ideas that have always made America better, made America great.

No one during our lifetime has more consistently given voice to the timeless ideals of this country than Rush Limbaugh,

Rush Limbaugh will never be forgotten. There will never be another Rush Limbaugh.
