Abbott Sets Date for Texas House District 52 Special Election

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN Texas  Governor Greg Abbott today issued a proclamation announcing November 6 2018 as the special election date to fill the Texas House of Representatives District 52 seat recently vacated by Representative Larry Gonzales. Candidates who wish to have their names placed on the special election ballot must file their applications with the Secretary of State no later than August 23 2018. Early voting will begin on Monday October 22 2018.
