After Monday's Musk-Trump Interview Hits 23+ Million Views, Elon's 'Happy to Host Kamala too.'

Harris criticized for catastrophic results while fulfilling her role as Biden's Border Czar

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Texas Insider Report) — Following a two-hour-long interview with former President Donald Trump on X Monday Evening, CEO Elon Musk extended an invitation to Vice President Kamala Harris to join him for an interview on the platform. Musk posted on his social media platform after the interview Monday night,

“Happy to host Kamala on an X Spaces too.”

If you missed Elon Musk's interview with Donald Trump Monday night, it was two hours of unfiltered conversation on a wide range of topics – the border, Kamala Harris's record, risiing gas prices and energy, foreign policy, and so on. Trump even said he'd like to eliminate the Department of Education and return control of education to the states – an incredibly bold policy position.

Harris has not held or scheduled a single interview since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race – and she was nominated in his place three weeks ago.

However, following Trump’s interview with Musk – which garnered over 23 million views – Kamala's campaign released a statement that read:

“Chip in $25 now," claiming that Musk was attempting to seize “control” of “our democracy” by hosting and interview with Mr. Trump on X.

The Harris-Walz campaign wrote in the fundraising email,

“He’s using his purchased platform – one of the largest social media sites in the world – to spread Trump’s unhinged and hateful agenda to millions of users.”

During the interview, Trump speculated that Kamala would never sit down for an interview with Musk and slammed Harris over the “coup” on Biden.

“This was a coup. This was a coup of a president of the United States. He didn't want to leave.”

Trump claimed Democrats told Biden he could go out the “nice way” or the “hard way.”

Musk added in reference to Biden,

“They just took him out back behind the shed, and basically shot him.”

Trump also slammed Harris for the catastrophic results she oversaw while fulfilling her role as President Biden's Border Czar, noting she's been weak on the security she was tasked with ensuring.

“You see what happened with these people, Kamala and Joe... They just let it go. I had 'Remain in Mexico' policies” that worked, said Trump.

Trump also criticized Harris on her recent copying his proposal to have a "No Tax on Tips" policy.

“She's making a speech to say there will be no tax on tips. I said that months ago,” said the former president, referencing Harris’ announcement for the initiative as part of her campaign at a stop in Las Vegas last week.

Harris was immediately called out for her effort at copying Trump.

And, by early Tuesday morning at  Elon Musk @elonmusk Tweeted:

Combined views of the conversation with @realDonaldTrump and subsequent discussion by other accounts now ~1 billion

Between 7:47 PM and 10:47 PM ET, President Donald Trump's Space post received 73 million views. During the same period, there were 4 million posts about Elon Musk and President Trump's conversation on 𝕏, generating a total of 998 million views.

Revolver News outlet noted:

“The mainstream media is dead. How do we know? Just look at the signs.

"Tucker Carlson – he’s racking up tens of millions of views on his new internet platform and X, way outpacing what he did at Fox News...

"The mainstream media’s coffin just took another pounding with the historic interview between President Trump and Elon Musk. The talk actually crashed the Internet, literally.

"The two men talked about mass deportations, solving inflation, stopping WW3, and defeating the deep state.”

The reach of the conversation will reach into new demographics that neither political party is accustomed to reaching – with the potential to reach voters that could increase Trump's level of support. Most of what was discussed was nothing new, but this conversation was targeted at a broader audience that is not already engaged heavily in politics.

The Harris Campaign, Democraats or other mainstream media sources are hardly in a position to criticize anyone for conducting an interview on X – especially since Musk has extended an offer to Kamala Harris to appear on the platform for a discussion herself.
