APIs Gerard Looks Forward to Working With New Administration On Energy Policy

WASHINGTON DC -- API President and CEO Jack Gerard released the following statement in response to the results of Tuesdays election.

We look forward to working with the new administration on smart energy policies that protect the United States as the global leader in oil and natural gas production development and refining as well as in reducing carbon emissions said API President and CEO Jack Gerard. We are second to no one and we can build on this success by joining together with policies that embrace our nations energy renaissance including increased energy production and infrastructure development while rejecting policies that could potentially harm job creation or raise costs on American consumers and businesses.

Credentialed journalists are invited to join Gerard for a post-election press conference call on Thursday November 10 at 11 a.m. where he will discuss energy and how the industry looks forwards to working with the new Trump administration to create jobs enhance energy security and continue lowering carbon emissions.
