Babin: Hobby Airport is the Only 5-Star-rated Airport in North America

I’m grateful to the Houston Airport System for having me, and I look forward to continuing to fight for its needs in Washington.

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Last week, I had the opportunity to tour Hobby Airport with the Houston Airport System. Hobby Airport is the only 5-star-rated airport in North America, and I was honored to meet many of the people behind it. I enjoyed hearing from Southwest Airlines, the Transportation Security Administration, and the Federal Aviation Administration about how they work together to ensure Hobby’s success.

As the senior Texan on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, I’ve seen firsthand some of the needs that our nation’s airports face. Houston Airports are going the extra mile to keep Americans safe and to ensure our nation’s travelers get where they’re going efficiently and effectively. I’m grateful to the Houston Airport System for having me, and I look forward to continuing to fight for its needs in Washington.
