Under Article II, the President of the United States, NOT a district judge, holds the authority to conduct foreign policy and enforce immigration law. These rulings are not about justice; they’re about control.
Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON, D.C. – We are a nation of laws, not a nation ruled by unelected elites in black robes.
The American people spoke loud and clear last November: they want secure borders, equal justice under the law, and a return to constitutional government. President Trump is back in the White House, and House Republicans are working every day to deliver on that mandate.
Even though the Biden administration is gone, the damage it caused lives on, especially in the courts. Radical judges, many of them appointed by Biden and even Obama, are now the frontline of resistance against President Trump’s agenda. These unelected activists are blocking deportations midair, shielding violent criminals, and openly defying the Constitution to undermine the will of the American people.
Take, for example, Judge Boasberg’s shocking order to reroute deportation flights, literally while they were midair, and return dangerous illegal alien gang members to U.S. soil. Among them were affiliates of the brutal Tren de Aragua gang. This wasn’t just judicial overreach. It was the legal equivalent of ordering troop movements in a war zone. It is reckless, lawless, and blatantly unconstitutional.
Under Article II, the President of the United States, NOT a district judge, holds the authority to conduct foreign policy and enforce immigration law. These rulings are not about justice; they’re about control.
And it doesn’t stop there.
After his inauguration, President Trump issued an executive order clarifying that the 14th Amendment does not grant birthright citizenship to the children of illegal aliens, a long-overdue move to close a dangerous loophole. But once again, activist judges are rushing to block it. I introduced the
Birthright Citizenship Act in the House: to codify the President’s authority and protect our sovereignty.
This legislation isn’t just important, it’s urgent. Rogue judges cannot be allowed to twist the Constitution to serve their own political agenda. The judiciary is not a super-legislature, and the American people will not stand by while unelected elites undermine the rule of law and erase our borders.
And if you need more proof of how out-of-touch these judges are, look no further than the case of Democrats’ beloved “Maryland man," Jose Abrego Garcia, an MS-13 member and known domestic abuser. Liberal politicians and judges fought to keep him in the country, even as he posed a clear threat to women and families. These are the people our courts are protecting? Not on my watch.
The Constitution governs us, and power lies with the people, not with partisan judges who see their role as resistance rather than jurisprudence.
