BRADY: Small Business is Booming Across Texas

America is back in a big way and you dont have to look any further than our own back yard Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C.-- Across America there are almost 30 million small businesses that create nearly two-thirds of all new jobs in the U.S. Odds are you or someone in your family works for a small business. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. This National Small Business Week I took to the road to hear from business owners and their workers about how the new tax law is impacting their lives. And let me tell you folks are excited again about the future of their businesses. Our new tax code allows the entrepreneurs we celebrate this week to do what they do best innovate and grow their businesses. Washington Democrats tried to stir up controversy with their false attacks against the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act but thanks to Tax Reform Texas is seeing more and more announcements of new investments new businesses and new jobs across all industries. These are not crumbs and Texas small business owners and employees are right to be excited. Numbers Dont Lie... Yesterdays record jobs report revealed that unemployment rate has reached a historic low dropping from 4.1 earlier this year to 3.9 this month. More than 500 companies have announced pay raises bonuses better benefits or increased hiring since passage of the new tax law.
