The Museum will participate in the Blue Star Museums program from Armed Forces Day to Labor Day
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – The Bullock Texas State History Museum is proud to join museums nationwide in participating in Blue Star Museums, a program that provides free admission to the nation's active-duty military personnel and their families during the summer. Free exhibition admission for military families will be available from Armed Forces Day on Saturday, May 21 to Labor Day, September 5, 2022.

"By participating in the national Blue Star program, sponsored at the Bullock by Lisa and Clay Cooley, we ensure that our military families have opportunities to learn and grow together at the Museum throughout the summer with fewer economic barriers," Koch said.
Military families are invited to explore three floors of Texas History Galleries and two special exhibitions. Mental Health: Mind Matters, on view through July 31, uses immersive experiences and multimedia activities to raise awareness and provide a safe space for conversations about mental health. The Blue Star Museums program is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in collaboration with Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums nationwide.
