Texas Insider Report: LAREDO, Texas – The campaign of Cassy Garcia continues to build momentum following her first-place finish in the Republican Primary for Texas Congressional District 28 last week, which runs from the eastern part of San Antonio and ends at the U.S.-Mexico Border.
Earlier today, she received the endorsement from four of her opponents in the 28th Congressional District primary, including:
- Willie Vasquez Ng
- Steven Fowler
- Eric Hohman, and
- Rolando Rodriguez
"Where there is no public safety, there is no prosperity. Cassy Garcia's commitment to border security will protect families and businesses, and that is why I am endorsing Cassy Garcia for Congress," said Willie Vasquez Ng.
"I'm blessed to have met Willie, Steven, Eric, and Ronaldo on the campaign trail and thankful to have them on my side," said Garcia.
"It means the world that they support me in this journey to secure the Republican nomination for Texas' 28th District. I'm excited to travel the district over the next two months and look forward to the runoff election," Garcia said.
Texas runoff elections are slated for May 24th, 2022, and Early Voting begins on Monday, May 16th, 2022.
