Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Harmony Public Schools–Central Texas will host the third annual Central Texas Math Carousel on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, bringing together fifth-grade students from across the Austin metroplex for a high-energy academic competition focused on mathematics.
The event, held at Harmony School of Endeavor, features individual- and team-based challenges designed to strengthen problem-solving skills, encourage collaboration, and build students' confidence in math. The competition emphasizes critical thinking, perseverance and teamwork while helping students view math as an engaging and attainable subject.(Competitor registration is closed.)
Students participate in a series of math-focused activities that require logic, creativity and cooperation. In addition to the competition, participants are exposed to interactive STEM experiences that highlight real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
