Comptroller Hegar: $1.1 Billion in Monthly Sales Tax Revenues Distributed to Local Texas Governments

 
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced today he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.1 billion in local sales tax allocations for July, 7.5% more than in July 2022.

These allocations are based on sales made in May by businesses that report tax monthly.
