Directing Homeland Securitys effort to fight Human Trafficking & passing the most comprehensive Childhood Cancer Bill in U.S. History
WASHINGTON D.C. (Texas Insider Report) Congressman Michael McCaul has effectively used his committee chairmanship to become the 3rd most highly ranked lawmaker in the 115th Congress said the Director of the Center for Effective Lawmaking Craig Volden.
Of the 29 bills he sponsored Cong. McCaul had 11 bills pass in the House and three became law.
His most notable legislative achievements were directing the Department of Homeland Securitys activities to fight human trafficking and working to shore up the nations cybersecurity efforts especially pertaining to cloud computing and infrastructure vulnerabilities Volden said.
Congressman McCaul who currently serves as the lead Republican on the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee is also the Chairman Emeritus of the House Homeland Security Committee was ranked as the 3rd Most Effective Lawmaker by the Center for Effective Lawmaking.

Congressman McCaul was also ranked by the Center for Effective Lawmaking as one of the Top 10 Most Effective Republican Lawmakers in the 115th House of Representatives.

Added McCaul: To more effectively combat human trafficking I spearheaded a bill to improve the Department of Homeland Securitys (DHS) ability to better educate and coordinate with Federal State and Local Law Enforcement.
