Today after the first day of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia McCaul noted:
Zero. That is how many mentions the 61 Democrats that delivered speeches last night made of terrorism ISIS Islamic terror or terrorist on the first night of the Democratic National Convention. This is a complete and utter failure of responsibility by Hillary Clinton her party and her hand picked surrogates.It represents a total misunderstanding of the greatest challenge our next president will face as Commander in Chief says McCaul.
Just in the month of July we have witnessed nine attacks by terrorists across the globe in France Germany Afghanistan Bangladesh and Iraq. These brutal and heinous attacks have killed hundreds of innocents injured many more and struck at the heart of the European continent.
On our own shores the terrorist attack in June in Orlando was a reminder that radical Islamist extremists are intent on exporting their hatred and murderous ways to the United States.
And yet the Democratic Party failed to address the problem or even mention terrorism once during its first day McCaul said.
You and I understand that the threat from radical Islamist extremism is real. The morning after I spoke about these very issues at the Republican National Convention I joined Fox News Americas Newsroom and predicted that Democrats would ignore terrorism and the threat from radical Islamist extremism.
Hillary Clinton and the Democrats have once again shown they are unable and unwilling to lead. Lets send them a strong message on November 8 one that cannot be ignored or deleted said McCaul.
