Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – “I'm excited to announce significant funding for both airport updates, and pavement improvements across our district," said Congressman Tony Gonzales (TX-23,) announcing $1,080,594 in funding from the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) for airport updates across Texas’ 23rd Congressional District.
Grants will be awarded to the following airports within Texas' 23rd Congressional District:
- $225,000 in state funding to prepare an Airport Layout Plan update with Business Plan at Castroville Municipal Airport.
- $225,000 in federal funding to prepare an Airport Layout Plan update at Cotulla-LaSalle County Airport.
- $630,594 in federal funding for pavement improvements at Garner Field.
