Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON D.C. – South Texas Congressman Tony Gonzales – who represents the City of Uvalde and the community the entire nation has been praying for during the past weeks – led a group of his House colleagues in introducing a resolution Thursday to honor the 21 lives that were lost during the mass shooting that took place at Robb Elementary School in the small, rural, and devastated Texas town.

“It's devastating to see our innocent students and teachers become victims of a senseless act of violence,” said Congressman Gonzales on the floor of the U.S. House, "and I am absolutely heartbroken as we grieve this tremendous loss in my community.

"I am honored to introduce this resolution with my colleagues to ensure they will always be remembered,” said Gonzales, who represents Texas' Congressional District 23.
