Culberson Applauds Decision to Halt 2640 Fountain View Housing Project 

Texas Insider Report: WASHIGTON D.C. (Houston TX)  Representative John Culberson (TX-07) released the following statement after Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner requested that Houston Housing Authority (HHA) find an alternate location for the 2640 Fountain View housing project that would be located in congressional district 7.

Id like to express my appreciation for Mayor Turners decision to find a more suitable location for this housing project. Id also like to thank State Senator Joan Huffman State Representative Jim Murphy and Houston City Councilman Greg Travis for their willingness to work towards finding a new location for this project and protect the Briargrove neighborhood."
