Dallas Police Association Backs State Rep. Tan Parker in His Run for Texas State Senate

“I stand with the police.”

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – “Public safety has been my top priority for the past 14 years in the Texas House. I stand with the police. They have our back, and they can have confidence that I’ll have their back in the Texas Senate," said conservative Republican Tan Parker, who currently serves as Texas State Representative in Texas House Dist. 63 and is a candidate for Texas State Senate District 12.

“I am honored to have earned the endorsement of the Dallas Police Association. As the next Senator from District 12, they know they will continue to have a friend in Austin.

“Growing up, I was taught to respect the police, a lesson that we have passed along in our own family.

“In these challenging times police officers are increasingly disrespected and under attack. Rioters have set fire to police stations, and liberal politicians have targeted police with hatred, while radical activists seek to defund their police departments.

"Not here – not on my watch!
